Erin's Story
Six years ago, my life changed forever when I suffered a traumatic brain injury.
For the better part of two years, I was confined to a dark room, unable to handle much light or social interaction, and my world shrank to the confines of a bed.
My life became a cycle of failed recoveries and shattered hopes. It reached a point where doctors were unsure how to help me, driving me to the brink of despair. I thought I’d never get better.
At my lowest point, I received a recommendation to consult with Dr. Paul Harch, who specializes in treating patients with brain trauma like mine.
Under his care, he proved to be the turning point in my journey to recovery, lifting me from a state of despair to one of hope and progress.
Aluminum in Deodorant
During my time with him, he informed me about substances found in everyday products that could hinder my recovery and long-term health.
A specific concern was aluminum in deodorants, known for being toxic to the brain.
I was shocked companies used such harmful ingredients in their products. I assumed if something was sold in a store, then it must be safe. However, I learned that was not the case.
As I searched for safer alternatives, I was disappointed by the options available. Many products still contained harmful ingredients, didn't work as promised, and used misleading marketing to deceive people.
Inspired by Dr. Harch's advocacy for my well-being and recognizing the need for a brand that genuinely prioritizes the health of people, I decided to start True Friend.
