Yes! Our deodorant is formulated with powerful natural ingredients like arrowroot powder and baking soda alternatives that neutralize odor effectively throughout the day. Most customers are amazed at how well it keeps up with their daily routine — even on active days. Keep in mind there's a short detox period of 1–2 weeks when switching from conventional deodorant, after which your body adjusts and performance improves.
Most natural deodorants still contain questionable ingredients or simply don't work. True Friend deodorant is handcrafted in small batches in the USA using certified organic ingredients — no aluminum, no parabens, no synthetic fragrances, and no hidden fillers. We started this brand because we couldn't find something we trusted, so we made it ourselves.
Absolutely. We formulate with gentle, skin-loving ingredients specifically with sensitive skin in mind. We also offer a baking soda-free version for those who experience irritation from baking soda. If you have specific skin concerns, feel free to reach out and we'll help you find the right option.
Yes! We offer a baking soda-free version of our deodorant for customers who are sensitive to baking soda. It's just as effective and uses alternative odor-neutralizing ingredients that are gentle on the skin. Many customers with sensitive underarm skin prefer this version and love it just as much.
We currently offer three signature scents: Vanilla + Citrus (warm, uplifting, and energizing), Lavender + Lemon (calming, fresh, and bright), and Eucalyptus + Mint (cool, crisp, and refreshing). Yes, and this is completely normal! When you switch from an aluminum-based antiperspirant to a natural deodorant, your body goes through a detox period of about 1–2 weeks. During this time you may sweat more than usual as your pores clear out. This is your body doing exactly what it's supposed to do — don't give up! Most customers notice a significant improvement after the adjustment period.
Our deodorant is formulated to minimize staining. We recommend applying a thin layer and allowing it to absorb for a minute or two before getting dressed. Unlike aluminum-based antiperspirants which cause yellow staining over time, our formula is much gentler on fabrics. Apply sparingly and you should have no issues.
One stick of True Friend deodorant typically lasts 2–3 months with daily use, depending on how much you apply. We recommend a thin, even layer — a little goes a long way with our formula. Applying too much can actually reduce effectiveness, so less is more!

Our soap bars are crafted from certified organic, plant-based ingredients including nourishing oils, natural clays and essential oils. We use no synthetic fragrances, no parabens, and no harsh sulfates. Every bar is handcrafted in small batches right here in the USA to ensure quality and freshness.
Yes! Our soap bars are formulated with gentle, skin-nourishing ingredients that are suitable for most skin types including sensitive skin. Our Pink Clay soap bar is especially popular for sensitive skin due to its gentle cleansing and soothing properties. We offer six handcrafted soap bars: Organic Pink Clay (gentle deep cleanse, soft skin), Organic Sweet Citrus (bright and energizing), Organic Lavender (calming and soothing), Organic Peppermint (refreshing and invigorating), Organic Sage Breeze (earthy, grounding, and fresh), and Unscented (pure and gentle — perfect for the most sensitive skin). Each one is made with organic ingredients and natural scents from essential oils only — except our Unscented bar, which contains zero fragrance of any kind.
Our soap bars are gentle enough for facial use for most skin types. The Pink Clay bar in particular is a favorite for face washing due to its pore-cleansing and brightening properties. However, everyone's skin is different — we recommend patch testing first and discontinuing if you experience any irritation.
With proper care, one bar typically lasts 4–6 weeks with daily use. To extend the life of your bar, always store it on a soap dish that allows water to drain away. Avoid leaving it sitting in water as this will cause it to dissolve faster. Letting it dry between uses makes a big difference!
Yes! Soap bars are one of the most eco-friendly personal care options available. They require no plastic bottle, use minimal packaging, and our formulas are biodegradable and free from harmful synthetic chemicals that end up in waterways. By choosing our bars over bottled liquid soap, you're reducing plastic waste significantly.
Yes! Despite being free from harsh sulfates (which create artificial foam in conventional soaps), our bars lather beautifully thanks to our carefully chosen plant-based oils. The lather may feel different from what you're used to — it's more creamy and less "squeaky clean" — but this is a sign your skin's natural moisture barrier is being preserved rather than stripped.

Konjac Sponge
A konjac sponge is a natural facial cleansing sponge made from the root of the konjac plant (Amorphophallus konjac), a vegetable native to Asia. It's 100% natural, biodegradable, and has been used in Asian skincare routines for centuries. When wet, it becomes incredibly soft and gentle — perfect for cleansing, exfoliating, and removing makeup without irritating the skin.
It's simple! Soak the sponge in warm water for 1–2 minutes until it becomes soft and fully expanded. Gently squeeze out excess water, then use it in circular motions on your face — with or without your cleanser. Rinse your face thoroughly, then rinse the sponge, gently squeeze out all water, and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated area between uses. Never wring or twist it.
Yes! The konjac sponge is naturally gentle and pH-balanced, making it suitable for all skin types including sensitive, oily, dry, and combination skin. It provides just the right amount of gentle exfoliation without the harshness of synthetic scrubs or rough exfoliants. Even those with rosacea or eczema often find it gentle enough to use.
With proper care, a konjac sponge typically lasts 4–6 weeks with daily use. You'll know it's time to replace it when it starts to feel softer than usual, develops an odor, or begins to break apart. To get the most life out of it, always hang it to dry completely between uses and never leave it sitting in water.
Yes! The konjac sponge is great for removing light everyday makeup when used with your favorite cleanser. For heavier or waterproof makeup, we recommend using a dedicated makeup remover first, then following up with the konjac sponge to deep cleanse. It leaves skin feeling incredibly clean and soft without any tightness.
