All soaps are scented with essential oils only, colored with a variety of organic herbs and plant derived ingredients. We use only certified organic oils for our bar soap. Whenever possible, we choose organically grown ingredients because you deserve nothing but the best!

Cold-Processed Soap

Cold process soapmaking preserves natural ingredients by mixing at low temperatures. This creates a moisturizing bar rich in glycerin and oils for skin nourishment. Slow curing for 4-6 weeks ensures a milder, longer-lasting soap. This approach supports quality and sustainability.

Do We Use Lye?

All soap bars use lye. The lye is consumed in the saponification process as molecules of oils and lye interact and reform to create molecules of soap and glycerin. The final product does not contain lye, so no worries there!

Essential Oils vs Fragrance Oils

Essential oils are pure plant extracts used for scenting or aromatherapy, where fragrance oils are synthetically made substitutes for essential oils. Because fragrance oils contain synthetic compounds, they can dry and irritate sensitive skin.

Any time you see "fragrance," "perfume," or "parfum," it's synthetic and not natural.

Can These Be Used For Sensitive Skin?

Most likely, yes! Our soap bars contain no synthetics, but we recommend our unscented bar for skin sensitivities.
